The Spider Chicken
by Mike Krause
(Ontario, Canada)
Beware the Spider Chicken!
The Spider Chicken is a genetic mishmash of chicken and spider DNA. It was developed by scientists working for a popular fast-food chicken franchise at a research facility of unknown location.
The plan was to create an animal that would produce more food than the average chicken. And of course, everyone's favorite part of the chicken is the leg (drumsticks). So, chicken and spider DNA was combined to produce a creature that was half spider and half chicken, an animal with eight chicken legs instead of just two!
Unfortunately, this became a genetic experiment gone wrong. The Spider Chicken, with it ferocious appetite and acute spider-like instincts, broke free from its holding cage and is now on the loose!
