Rex from Clone Wars

Hey Seth. Nice addition to the gallery!

I thought it was cool in the movies, seeing Rex and the others - the clones, precursors to the Storm Troopers to come later on in A New Hope and forward. It was sad to see them turn when 'order 66' was given in Revenge of the Sith. Made for a much better (and darker then the first two) Star Wars movie.

Your drawing is nice and sharp - I'm guessing you used a black marker here to bring it into view? Looks good. Nice and simple!

A look at the arms in your drawing brings an idea to mind. Being someone that enjoys going straight to the permanent black, I really think you'd benefit by sketching out a simple guide before-hand. Nothing to crazy... just some lightly sketched lines so that when you do go over it in black - the proportion will kick in all the more easily. I make this suggestion as the arms could be a tad bit longer and thicker.

Still though, I'm much the same! I enjoy drawing things 'one shot' - especially with a black marker, Sharpie's are always fun!
