A Really Easy Cartoon Pencil Drawing!

I'd say it's only right... to have a cartoon pencil drawing lesson on the site!
Well, in all its step-by-step simplicity, here it is.
As you can see, the finished product is indeed your 'average everyday' pencil.
But as always, feel free to change things up. This lesson serves as a simple guide to drawing pencils, pens, crayons, markers... well - you get the idea.
OK - let's get to it!...
First Thing - Use a Rectangle to Guide You
A nice skinny rectangle will do just perfect in keeping the shape of your soon-to-be cartoon pencil. Keep it super light, and once you're satisfied - begin by drawing the very tip.
Drawing from left to right, here's how to bring your pencil into view...

And then, left to right once more for the details...
Once you've come this far, all that's left is a few more lines/words on the main part of the 'drawing stick' and then - why not some color!
Here's what it looks like when you're all done...
And Then... You're Done!
In my case, a couple more simple lines bring out the 'grip'. But of course, depending on what kind of drawing tool you drew, you may wish to add/omit details as you feel necessary. For example - if it's a pencil crayon, you may want to print the color 'Red' at one end. Up to you!
Shall I add something else? Nah - nice and simple, that's all there is to say and draw for this cartoon pencil drawing lesson. And well, I hope you enjoyed it!
See you again real soon for another! :-)
