How to Draw a One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater
The name 'One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater' all started in 1958 when a musician by the name of 'Sheb Wooly' included the monster in his song. And amazingly - while it sounds very much as though it's the monster that's supposed to be purple... it's actually the people instead. Yup - who knows what color the monster really is. It just likes to eat people that are purple in color.
Anyway - regardless of what color the monster actually is - I'm going to keep this one purple!! And for sure - you can too.
Let's draw! :-)
First Step - Draw a Framework for Your One Eyed One Horned Flying Purple People Eater
To be honest - we really don't know exactly what this monster is supposed to look like. Other than the fact of course - and just as the song goes... that the monster does have one eye, one horn - and oh yes... it flies!
Here's a simple framework to help you bring yours into view...
But then again - being on the subject of 'monsters!'... why not change yours up a bit. Your monster could be WAY BIGGER than this one. Maybe it's eye is much smaller too. Four wings? Six legs!!
Really... anything goes!
Second Step - Draw Your Monster
Beginning with the head - or better yet - the eye... here's how to draw one possible version of this monster, step by step:
And yes - so many steps later -- you're all done!
As you can see - this is a monster that again - can look a number of different ways. That's the fun when it comes to creating monsters - you really get to 'let go' and let your imagination run wild!
Congrats on a job well drawn.
