Red Dragon

Well I am not a very good artist but i had to draw a dragon for class for the movie Beowulf.

I stumbled across this sight and started following its steps. I accidentally started on the advanced red dragon and on step 2 instead of step one so that is probably why its not that awesome lol.

But i tried and compared to my other works and feel it's actually pretty good lol. It took me 2 hours believe it or not. lol

A great first attempt Brian!

Brian,

I'm impressed with this first attempt to draw a dragon.

Indeed, beginning with the first phase of the lesson - you'd have a better plan for your drawing. In sketching out the simple shapes which compose what you're going to draw ahead of time, it can really help with maintaining proportion and symmetry.

That aside, you did very well without this phase. I can tell you put a lot of work into it and I encourage you to keep at it.
