How to Draw a Jawa

Utinni! A jawa is a rodent-like species of natives (alien to us - but native to the likes of Luke Skywalker), that resided on the planet Tatooine in the first Star Wars movie - the same place Luke grew up with his aunt and uncle.
They move about in huge sandcrawlers, arm themselves with ion blasters... and earn their living by scavenging and trading.
Let's draw one!
First Step - Framework for a Jawa
Drawing this creature, is actually pretty simple. Kind of like a grim reaper - it's cloak, as it drapes over most of its body... makes drawing one in whole - easier than you may think.
Here's how it looks...
So once you know how the body is divided up - draping/drawing the cloak in/around/over the creature - is a snap. Use the steps that follow - to help you make it happen.
Let's go!
Second Step - Draw!
Beginning with those eerie soon-to-be-glowing-and-yellow! eyes, go ahead and slowly bring the head of the creature into view - followed by the rest of its body. Looking at a reference image, there may be some other features you want to add. Do!
Here are the steps...
Pretty neat when it's all done!... what a cool-looking creature!
Here's a suggestion. Repeat the above process x number of times, and pretty soon - you'll have enough for an entire army. In front of a gigantic sandcrawler - this would make for an awesome Star Wars drawing indeed!
'Til next time!
