If you haven't yet seen the new 'Star Trek' - I recommend you do. Here let's learn how to draw Spock - or 'celebrity-wise'... either Leonard Nemoy or Zachary Quinto. Actually then again - yup - it's a lot more like Mr. Nemoy. :-)

Alright - let's get to it!

First Step - Draw a Framework for Your Character

First up, let's map out how Mr. Spock will look when we get to the drawing phase of the lesson. And for sure - showing the famous Vulcan salute, will definitely play a role.

Here's how it looks...

Just like any other human - drawing a simple structure from which to base your character around - is really quite simple.

Let's continue!

Second Step - Draw Mr. Spock!

Beginning with the upper-most part - long narrow head, pointed ears, sharp angled eyebrows... go ahead and draw Mr. Spock similar to how I've done below. Use the sequence shown to help you progress.

Getting the Vulcan salute correct can be a bit tricky. The green circle helps to position the hand accordingly. But all in all, drawing this character really is pretty simple. So now - get out those pencil crayons and brighten up your drawing!

Draw long and prosper! :-)
