Hayao Miyazaki Drawing Lessons
Director and writer Hayao Miyazaki - working with producer Studio Ghibli, is responsible for some of the most amazing anime films ever released. And surely - if you're a fan... you know exactly what I'm talking about.
Movies that come to mind? Well... picking off his more popular ones (at least here in the West!), there's Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away - and Howl's Moving Castle. But the list goes on... Castle in the Sky... Porco Rosso... etc.
While Princess Mononoke is a sure favorite, I especially like the unique characters seen in the film Spirited away. Characters like 'No-Face', the 'Radish Spirit', Kamaji - and well... many more. So much imagination and creativity went into this - it's mind-blowing!
All films combined - it sets the stage for some really fun and cool cartoon drawing lessons!
Of course, while each character takes on a unique look of its own - in turn - in creating each lesson... I'll put my own unique spin on them as well. So similar to other categories, these lessons will serve as a homage to Hayao Miyazaki and Ghibli Studio movie characters.
Pick a lesson and begin!
Baby OhmuThe creature that will either make or break the future of the Valley of the Wind - a baby Ohmu.

How to Draw the Radish SpiritI don't know what to say here, other than - this character was very unique - and very cool. Let's draw him!
How to Draw No-FaceRe-create 'No-Face' the hungry-yet-misunderstood monster from the mega hit anime - Spirited Away.
Mononoke Hime Forest SpiritIn Princess Mononoke, the Forest Spirit transforms into this - the 'Night Walker' - when the sun goes down.
