Great job with the format, but with animals, try to make the lines of it's body flow more. Try to just let the pencil guide you to making a perfect penguin shape. Good luck!

Nice Simple Character

Hi Tyler,

A nice, simple little penguin drawing you've got here. I'd like to see you take it a step further.

A tip -- if you re-sketch your character on a white sheet of paper, do so again lightly in pencil. Then, go over your lines in a black marker (but don't make them too thick!).

Finally, outline the perimeter with an even thicker black marker - and when you're all done, color it in.

This'll give you're character that neat 'logoish' look that you often see.
