Drawing Day 2009 Gallery
A day of drawing!
On Saturday June 6th, 2009 - people all over the world *dropped everything* and drew for the sake of art.
Here at DrawCartoonsOnline.com, we held an event of our own. Over a 24 hour period (depending on your time zone of course!) - visitors to the site drew and then submitted drawings for this event.
Each drawing entered, was displayed on its very own page here on the site, as well as being displayed in a unique slide show. And also, there were prizes to be won - making things all the more fun!
At the same time, I did my best to create a number of new lessons for the site throughout the day. Although I will admit... the dragon lesson required a little extra attention! :-)
All in all, the event was a ton of fun - and a huge success. And it's no surprise... a day dedicated to only drawing... what could possibly be cooler than that?! :-)
