As you may be aware, over the last couple months - I've been working away on a brand new drawing resource - one that helps you to create your very own unique cartoon characters.

Things are coming along quite nicely - but while I'm working away, I'd really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts about it. Your input will most definitely be helpful as the project gets closer to completion.

Thank you very much!

Jeff.

1. A Brand New Drawing Lesson, Every Single Day!

Beginning September the 1st, 2009 (yes - just a little while ago!), I began creating a brand new drawing lesson - every single day. So yes - right now, you can find nine new lessons - things like an 'Avatar Na'vi', a Japanese Lantern, and a new dragon drawing lesson.

To keep up-to-date on all the newest drawing lessons, you can visit the site here at this link - in the Blog section:

Visit the Cartoon Drawing Blog for a Brand New Lesson, Every Day!!

2. Creating Your Own Unique Cartoon Characters

'Draw Cartoon Characters' is a new drawing project I've been working on for some time now. When it's complete, it will teach you how to create your very own unique cartoon characters - from scratch.

What's cool about this, is that unlike the lessons on the site - this new resource will enable you to not only draw your own character, but also... introduce various elements to it such as actions & poses, emotions, uniqueness (clothing & props), and more!

Really, the project has come a long way over the summer. It's been a ton of fun to work on, and I really think it will help you in taking your drawings to another level.

To learn more about this project, and to share some thoughts and ideas about it too (I'd really appreciate it!), please check out the following page on the site...

3. What do you think? Share Your 'Two Cents'.

I've added a new survey to the site recently, and would really appreciate it if you took a few seconds to complete it. There are just a few questions that pertain to drawing, and the website!

To complete a quick survey about the site, please click on the following link:

Visit the 'Quick Survey' Page

And so, that's all for this issue of Draw Cartoons Today! I'll be sending out the next one on October the 1st - with a Halloween Surprise!

Jeff :-)
